So they couldn't get 4 regional sites so they just named the 2 they could land.

Favorite is when ESPN tries to shove this crap down our throat and will show a buzzer beater from a conference tournament and there are literally maybe 15-20 people in the crowd.

Girls basketball is always so top heavy.

I want to say that for the exception of 2 years, every season a 1 or 2 seed has won the tournament and when they didn't, I think it was a 3 seed that won.

ESPN loved to push this tournament down your throat despite knowing know one cares. How are they still so powerful. Every decision they make is horrible.

Is ANYONE watching this?
Is ANYONE betting this?

Here’s a list of each team that’s advanced to the Women’s Final Four of the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. The national semifinals will take place on Friday, March 31 with the first game tipping off at 7 p.m. ET and the second game tipping off at 9:30 p.m. ET. Both games will be televised on ESPN and the time slots will be determined on Monday night.

Greenville 1 - South Carolina

Greenville 2 - LSU

Seattle 3 - Virginia Tech

Seattle 4 - Iowa

South Carolina: The defending champions used a massive second quarter to eventually power past Maryland and will now go back to the Final Four. Aliyah Boston, Brea Beal and Zia Cooke were the stars in this game, combining for 56 points.

LSU: The Tigers are heading to the Final Four for the first time since 2008, taking out No. 9 Miami in the Elite Eight on Sunday. LSU has locked in defensively throughout the tournament and has held each of its four opponents to under 40% shooting. Angel Reese has been a double-double machine and picked up her 32nd of the season on Sunday.

Iowa: The Hawkeyes are in the Final Four for the first time since 1993 and have done so on the back of Caitlin Clark. She delivered one of the greatest performances in NCAA Tournament history against Louisville on Sunday, putting up 41 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds in the Elite Eight win. It will be interesting to see if anyone can stop this wrecking machine in Dallas this weekend.

Virginia Tech: The Hokies took down Ohio State after the Buckeyes shocked UConn in the Sweet 16. Elizabeth Kitley lead the way for Virginia Tech with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Georgia Amoore added 24 points. The Hokies now get LSU in the Final Four.

I don't follow it... Are all 4 teams either 1 or 2 seeds like every year?

Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

Odds from DraftKings Sportsbook

Spread: Iowa -1.5
Total: 162.5
Moneyline: Iowa -120, LSU +100

No. 3 LSU 33-2 (15-1 SEC)

First Round: Defeated No. 14 Hawai’i 73-50
Second Round: Defeated No. 6 Michigan 66-42
Sweet 16: Defeated No. 2 Utah 66-63
Elite Eight: Defeated No. 9 Miami 54-42
Final Four: Defeated No. 1 Virginia Tech 79-72
Her Hoops Stats ratings: 3 Overall, 6 Offense, 4 Defense
Leading scorer: Angel Reese (23.5 ppg)
Key stat of tournament: Has each NCAA Tournament opponent to under 40% shooting
The Tigers were down double digits in the second half to the Hokies in the Final Four, but some hot shooting late and plenty of lockdown defense got them to the first national championship game in program history. Alexis Morris finished with a game-high 27 points on 11-27 from the field, while holding VPI to just 10-25 while forcing eight turnovers after intermission.

No. 2 Iowa 29-6 (15-3 Big Ten)

First Round: Defeated No. 15 Southeastern Louisiana 95-43
Second Round: Defeated No. 10 Georgia 74-66
Sweet 16: Defeated No. 6 Colorado 87-77
Elite Eight: Defeated No. 5 Louisville 97-83
Final Four: Defeated No. 1 South Carolina 77-73
Her Hoops Stats ratings: 6 Overall, 2 Offense, 48 Defense
Leading scorer: Caitlin Clark (26.9 ppg)
Key stat of tournament: They have Caitlin Clark, and you don’t.
The Hawkeyes beat the previously undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks 77-73 in the Final Four behind one of the most unforgettable performances in the history of the NCAA Women’s Tournament by Caitlin Clark. With 41 points and eight assists, including a four clutch free throws to ice the game, the AP National Player of the Year has become a phenomenon in the sport.
The Hawkeyes were outrebounded 49-25, but it didn’t matter because they have the best player in the country.
